SLS Printing<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

SLS-Printing (Selective Laser Sintering) is a 3D printing technique that uses a high-powered laser to melt and fuse small particles of powder materials such as nylon or polyamide, into a solid structure. This method is used for prototyping and production of complex geometries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How SLS-Printing works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First, a thin layer of powder material is spread over the building platform. A laser is then directed over the powder, melting it and binding the particles according to the CAD model. Once a layer is complete, the platform is lowered and a new layer of powder is spread. The process is repeated layer by layer until the whole model is ready. The powder that is not melted acts as a support for the structure, eliminating the need for extra support structures and making it possible to create complex and detailed shapes. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
