3D Printing and Customized Solutions: An Efficient Resource for Prototypes and Affordable Products

In our view, 3D printing is primarily a tool for quickly creating prototypes at present. However, 3D printing can certainly also be used to produce final products. A prototype represents an initial version of a product or design, used to test and showcase a concept. It mirrors the final product and displays its features and design. Prototypes help in testing different design alternatives, confirming performance, and resolving any issues before the product is launched to the market. Therefore, we believe that the process of creating prototypes should be straightforward while keeping costs low.

Who are we at RPS?

Currently, there are two of us at RPS, Alexander Thunell and Armin Todorovac. Both of us have had 3D printing as a hobby for several years, and in March 2023, we decided to start a service to assist individuals and businesses in designing and creating products and prototypes. We both have a strong passion for 3D printing, design, and construction!

When we're not working on RPS, which is our hobby venture, we are employed full-time as engineers at two major Swedish companies, SKF Sverige AB and Polestar Performance AB. Our goal is to assist as many individuals and businesses as possible with our passionate interest in design, construction, and 3D printing.

Alexander Thunell

I'm 25 years old and have always had an interest in technology. I studied mechanical engineering at university and currently work in statistical control and machine monitoring at SKF Sverige AB. I have a solid background in production and manufacturing industries. About five years ago, I purchased my first 3D printer, and it has become a fervent interest of mine. I also have a lot of knowledge in 3D design and construction. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have in this field!

Armin Todorovac

Since I was young, technology has always fascinated me. After completing my studies in mechanical engineering, I began my professional career at Polestar as a 3D designer and now work as a hardware engineer. My experience in the production and manufacturing sector is extensive. About four years ago, I invested in a 3D printer, which further heightened my interest in 3D design. I have also designed several components for upcoming cars from Polestar. If you have any questions in this field, don't hesitate to ask!
