Purchase and delivery terms - Rapid Prototyping Solutions
Here you will find our terms of purchase and delivery. We comply with Swedish consumer legislation, apply GDPR and provide information on prices, right of withdrawal, complaints and delivery.
Enforcement and consumer protection
These general terms and conditions apply to the purchase agreement that you as a consumer enter into with RPS. In order to protect your interests as a customer, the provisions of the Consumer Sales Act (SFS 1990:932), the Distance and Doorstep Sales Act (SFS 2005:59) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are applied to all purchases at rapidprototypingsolutions.se.
Privacy policy
For us at the RPS, it is important that you always feel safe when you provide us with your personal data. With the help of our privacy policy, we want to show how we ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with current personal data legislation. We want to make it as easy as possible for you as a consumer to understand how we process your personal data.
Purchase information
Changes and additions must be made before your order is processed and or shipped from us. Therefore, if you discover any inaccuracies on your order, it is important that you contact our customer service immediately to amend your order if possible. Once the order has been dispatched, it cannot be canceled and no changes can be made. Contact us for the status of your order at info@rapidprototypingsolutions.com.
Prices
All prices are inclusive of VAT. Shipping and invoice charges may apply, in which case these will be indicated at checkout.
Manufacturing & Warranty
Once your order has been placed and an order confirmation email has been sent out, you cannot cancel the order if production has been running for more than two hours. Contact us at info@rapidprototypingsolutions.com to see the current status of your order. All types of manufacturing are considered custom-made goods and the right of withdrawal in accordance with the Distance and Home Sales Act does not apply once manufacturing has started. We do not offer any guarantees on manufactured 3D models that are designed by you as a customer. We manufacture all 3D models exactly according to your model and its properties shaped in the 3D program you use when building the 3D model. Should the design have flaws/weaknesses/be smaller/larger and this is discovered after delivery, RPS is not obliged to compensate you as a consumer. It is your responsibility to ensure that all parameters are correct for 3D manufacturing before placing your order. If you are unsure, you should always contact us for inspection of your 3D model before placing an order. We inspect each 3D model carefully to ensure that there are no damages before they are packed and shipped.
Right of withdrawal
With us, you always have a right of withdrawal of thirty (30) days (not applicable to companies). As a consumer, you have the right to examine the product. NOTE! The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made uniquely for you as a consumer such as 3D printing. I.e., specially manufactured goods.
In the case of withdrawal / open purchase, we do not reimburse shipping costs to us and the responsibility that the shipment reaches us lies with you as a customer. In case of defective packaging or obvious damage to the product, a price deduction will be made of at least 30% of the value of the product and may, in case of significant impact, be denied repurchase.
Complaints
If a product or service deviates from the contract between you and RPS or otherwise does not correspond to the description of the product or service provided by RPS, the product can be returned. Please contact us first. NOTE: Does not apply to 3D printing as we do not provide any guarantees to private customers or companies that upload their own models on the site.
Mini order
The minimum order for 3D printing is 500 SEK including VAT. This fee is added due to the preparation work for each 3D print. Previously, this fee did not exist with us. However, in order to continue with the 3D printing service, this fee has been added. We hope that you as a customer understand this. We are working towards raising the fee in the future.
Terms of delivery/manufacturing
Normal production is around 1-5 working days. During peak season it may take longer. Goods/materials that are not in stock, but must be ordered from a supplier, will have a longer delivery time. You can find information about the current stock status of each product/material on our website. You will be notified of any deviations from the normal delivery time or information in connection with the order confirmation, or afterwards via a separate email. You will of course have the right to cancel or change your order. We cannot offer any compensation due to a delivery delay.
Unredeemed parcels/wrong address given
Bulky items remain at the delivery point for 7 days before being returned to us. For items that are not released and are returned to us, a fee is charged on the amount incurred for the return. Unredeemed parcels are not reimbursed by RPS. Missing/undelivered deliveries due to an incorrect address given at the time of payment/check-out are not reimbursed by RPS.
Delivery methods & responsibilities
We do not take financial responsibility for any delays caused by the shipping company.
All packages are insured and traceable. Deliveries weighing less than 100 grams can usually be sent as letters.
Freight
The shipping cost of an order is always a fixed price depending on the country the consumer is ordering from. In Sweden, all our orders are free of shipping costs.
Personal Data Act
Your personal data is handled in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Personal Data Act (PUL) & GDPR.
When you shop with us, you provide personal information such as your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and, in some cases, your social security number. We need this information to deliver the goods to you, but also to handle warranty matters or insurance. A social security number is required in the event of a credit check.
We, RPS, are the data controller and we process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and GDPR. The purpose of this processing is to be able to fulfill our commitments to you as a customer and to inform you about offers. Personal data is also processed within the framework of market and customer analyzes, which form the basis for marketing, method and business development, and to fulfill what is required of us by law.
In order to maintain a good level of service to you as a customer, we document all customer communications. You have the right to access this information on request. If the information turns out to be incorrect, incomplete or otherwise irrelevant, we are obliged to take corrective action.
Newsletters
When you become a customer of RPS, you will receive our emails. You can unsubscribe from receiving offers by email at any time. The mobile phone number you enter at checkout may be used for SMS notification of delivery or other communication regarding your order.
Price and product information
In the event of any inaccuracies in stock status or price, RPS reserves the right to cancel the purchase agreement. If the product/material has been discontinued or is not available for any other reason, RPS is not obliged to provide the product but can suggest an alternative product. All pictorial information should be considered as illustrations and cannot be guaranteed to reflect the exact appearance and nature of the goods.
Reviews
By submitting reviews of products on RPS, you also give RPS the right to publish them on the website and in other channels and media. RPS reserves the right to publish and/or remove submitted reviews.
Other
We follow the recommendations of the General Complaints Board and Swedish law in the event of a dispute.

Order as a reference in marketing
If you order a 3D print from us, you have the option to let RPS use your print as a reference project in marketing. You will be asked this upon payment. If you agree to this, it gives RPS the right to upload pictures and videos of your product, both when it is manufactured and finished, on our website and social media channels.
Copyrighted material & the right to cancel orders
RPS does not sell copyrighted 3D prints. We sell time of our machines and give you as a customer the right to rent our machines to make the model you upload on the page. It is your responsibility as a customer to find out what applies to your particular model before you check out and pay for machine time & materials with us. RPS reserves the right to cancel orders where the model you as a customer plan to make in our machines represents objects of an illegal nature or copyrighted material. For example: weapons or parts for weapons. All attempts to manufacture unauthorized material will be reported to the police.
By shopping at RPS, you as a consumer accept the above terms of purchase.
