Application and Consumer Protection

De här allmänna villkoren är tillämpliga på det köpeavtal som du som konsument ansluter med RPS. För att ta tillvara på dina intressen som kund tillämpas bestämmelserna i Konsumentköplagen (SFS 1990:932), Distans- och hemförsäljningslagen (SFS 2005:59) samt dataskyddsförordningen (GDPR) på samtliga köp på rapidprototypingsolutions.se.

Privacy Policy

At RPS, it is important to us that you always feel secure when providing us with your personal information. Through our privacy policy, we aim to demonstrate how we ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. We want to make it as easy as possible for you as a consumer to understand how we handle your personal information.

Purchase Information

Changes and additions must be made before your order is processed and/or shipped by us. Therefore, if you discover any inaccuracies in your order, it is important that you contact our customer service immediately to make changes if possible. Prices

All prices are stated including VAT. Any fees for shipping and invoice fees may apply, which will be specified at the checkout.

Manufacturing & Warranty

Once your order is placed and an order confirmation email has been sent, you cannot cancel the order if manufacturing has proceeded for more than two hours. Contact us at info@rapidprototypingsolutions.se to check the current status of your order. All types of manufacturing are considered custom-made products, and the right of withdrawal in accordance with the Distance and Doorstep Selling Act does not apply once manufacturing has commenced. We do not offer any warranties on manufactured 3D models that are designed by you as a customer. We manufacture all 3D models exactly according to your model and its characteristics as shaped in the 3D program you use for the construction of the 3D model. If any flaws/weaknesses/discrepancies are discovered after delivery, RPS is not obliged to compensate you as a consumer. It is your responsibility to ensure that all parameters are correct for 3D manufacturing before placing your order. If you are unsure, you should always contact us for an inspection of your 3D model before placing an order. We carefully inspect each manufactured 3D model to ensure no damages exist before they are packed and shipped.

Right of Withdrawl

With us, you always have a thirty (30) day right of withdrawal (not applicable to businesses). As a consumer, you have the right to examine the product. NOTE! The right of withdrawal does not apply to products uniquely manufactured for you as a consumer, such as 3D prints. In other words, custom-made products. 

In the case of the right of withdrawal/open purchase, we do not reimburse the shipping costs to us, and the responsibility for the shipment reaching us lies with you as the customer. In the case of defective packaging or obvious damage to the product, a price reduction of at least 30% of the product's value will be made, and in cases of significant impact, the return may be refused.

Complaints

If a product or service deviates from what is stipulated in the agreement between you and RPS or otherwise does not correspond to the description of the product or service provided by RPS, the product can be returned. Contact us first. NOTE: This does not apply to 3D prints as we do not provide any guarantees to private customers or businesses uploading their own models to the site.

Minimum Order

The minimum order for 3D prints is 85 SEK including VAT and excluding shipping costs.

Delivery Terms/Manufacturing

Normal manufacturing takes approximately 1-5 working days. During peak seasons, it may take longer. Goods/materials not in stock that must be ordered from the supplier will have a longer delivery time. You can find information on the current stock status for each product/material on our website. Information about any deviations from the normal delivery time or information will be provided with the order confirmation, alternatively afterwards via a separate email. You then have the right to abstain, or alternatively, modify your order. We cannot offer any compensation for a delivery delay.

Unclaimed Packages/Incorrect Address Provided

Bulky shipments will be held at the pickup location for 7 days before being returned to us. For shipments that are unclaimed and returned to us, a fee will be charged for the return. Unclaimed packages are not reimbursed by RPS. Lost/undelivered deliveries due to an incorrectly provided address during payment/check-out are not reimbursed by RPS.

Delivery Method & Responsibility

We do not take financial responsibility for any delays due to the shipping company. All packages are insured and traceable. Deliveries weighing less than 100 grams can usually be sent as letters.

Shipping

The shipping cost for an order is always a fixed price depending on the country from which the consumer is placing the order.

Personal Data Act

Your personal data is handled in accordance with the current provisions of the Personal Data Act (PUL) & GDPR.

When you shop with us, you provide personal information such as name, address, email address, telephone number, and in some cases, even your personal identification number. We need this information to deliver the product to you, as well as for handling warranty claims or insurance. The personal identification number is required for any potential credit checks.

We, RPS, are the data controller who processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act & GDPR. The purpose of this processing is to fulfill our obligations to you as a customer and to inform you about offers. The personal data is also processed within the framework of market and customer analyses, which form the basis for marketing, method and business development, and to fulfill what is required of us by law.

In order to maintain a good level of service towards you as a customer, we document all customer communication. You have the right to access this information upon request. If the information is found to be inaccurate, incomplete, or otherwise irrelevant, it is our responsibility to take corrective action.

Newsletter

When you become a customer at RPS, you will receive our email newsletters. You can unsubscribe from receiving offers via email at any time. The mobile phone number you provide at checkout may be used for SMS notifications of delivery or other communication related to your order.

 Price and Product Information

In case of any inaccuracies in stock status or price, RPS reserves the right to cancel the purchase agreement. If the product/material has been discontinued or is otherwise unavailable, RPS is not obligated to provide the product but may suggest an alternative product. All image information should be seen as illustrations and cannot guarantee an exact representation of the product's appearance and quality.

Reviews

By leaving reviews about products on RPS, you also give RPS the right to publish them on the website and in other channels and media. RPS reserves the right to publish and/or remove submitted reviews.

Bulk Orders

We reserve the right to stop and credit bulk orders or orders from resellers.

Other

We follow the recommendations of the General Complaints Board and Swedish law in the event of a dispute.

Order as a Reference in Marketing

If you order a 3D print from us, you have the option to allow RPS to use your print as a reference project in marketing. You will be asked this during payment. If you agree, it gives RPS the right to upload images and videos of your product, both during its production and when it is finished, on our website and social media channels.

Copyrighted Material & Right to Cancel Orders

RPS does not sell copyrighted 3D prints. We sell the time of our machines and give you, as a customer, the right to rent our machines to produce the model you upload to the site. It is your responsibility as a customer to find out what applies to your specific model before you check out and pay for machine time & materials with us. RPS reserves the right to cancel orders where the model you, as a customer, plan to manufacture in our machines represents objects of illegal nature or copyrighted material. For example: weapons or parts for weapons. Any attempts to manufacture unauthorized material will be reported to the police.

By shopping at RPS, you as a consumer agree to the above purchase terms.
