The most common option for models with a level of detail greater than or equal to 0.4 mm, which produces a very good result.
For details smaller than 0.4 mm, for example, high-detail action figures. Higher printing cost than a 0.4 mm nozzle due to longer production time. Cannot be used with carbon fiber-reinforced materials, TPU, TPC, and nylon. Larger than or equal to 0.4 mm, which provides a very good result.

Order 3D Printing / 3D Printing Sweden

Order 3D Printing - Upload your model here and see the cost right away! We use 3D printing to print your model! Order 3D printing quickly with us, 3D Printing Sweden.

3D printing is a versatile tool that can help you in many ways. Firstly, it can be used to create prototypes and provide quick and cheap design. In addition, it gives you the opportunity to test different design options before moving forward with production. Perhaps you are thinking of showing your colleagues in the workplace an improvement proposal or solution but are finding it difficult to sell the improvement proposal. In this case, a physical prototype can actually be the perfect option to make others understand what you want to achieve. 3D Printing Sweden is a technology that uses a digital model to create a physical object by building up the material layer by layer.
We use FDM technology to print your design. Read more about FDM here!

How to order a 3D print

Order your 3D print by following the steps below:

  1. Click on ”UPLOAD MODEL” and select the file that is your model. The file must be in stl, stp, step, obj, igs or iges format. Our calculation tool can process these file formats.
  2. Rotate and scale, if desired. It doesn't matter how the model is rotated, as the tool only counts the material in the model and bases the cost on this. Likewise, you don't need to worry about support material; we'll take care of that. Finally, select the unit of measurement you used to design the model (mm/in).
  3. Select the material and click on ”NEXT”. You can read about the material properties by hovering over the material (on desktop) or clicking on it (mobile/tablet). Finally, you can also read more in-depth about materials in our article ”All about 3D printing” if you want to know more.
  4. Select the fill you want and click on ”NEXT”.
  5. Enter the number of prints you want to order and click ”Add to cart”

Materials for 3D printing / 3D printing

3D printing can use a wide range of materials, including plastics, metals, wood, ceramics and even biological materials such as cells and tissues. Most commercial 3D printers use plastic materials such as ABS and PLA, which are the two most common plastic materials for 3D printing. When choosing the material for your specific project, it is important to consider how the object will be used. When ordering from us, you can choose between basic materials, such as PLA, ABS and PETG, and high-performance materials such as carbon fibre reinforced PETG. To choose the right material for your model, you can read about their properties in our article ”All about 3D printing”.

Filling in 3D printing

The inner structure is called infill and is created when a 3D model is printed to reinforce and support the outer layers of the model and reduce the amount of material used in the prints. 20% is usually enough to get a robust model. Below you can see a model with 100%, 50% and 80% filler.

Things to consider when exporting STL and OBJ files from CAD programs

Many people miss an important detail when exporting their STL/OBJ file from the CAD program. It is about setting the tolerance of the file. Normally, CAD programs have a default resolution that minimizes the size of the file. The problem with a lower resolution is that the model can have sharp edges, especially in radii, which negatively affects the surface of the final print. A concrete example of this phenomenon is shown in the image below. To be brief, the CAD program NX calls this setting ”chordal tolerance” and it appears when exporting the model as an STL/OBJ file. Adjusting this simple setting can make a significant difference to your finished model!

    Fast, accurate, cheap, nice guys.

  2. Lisa (verified owner) -

Reasonable prices, great printing, fast delivery!

  3. Anonymous (verified owner) -

Really smooth! Good that the website takes you directly to the upload without any frills. Letters usually go pretty fast, but I still wish there was an option to be able to pick up the printout on site if you are in a real hurry.

  4. Morten Jörgensen (verified owner) -

    Good quality

  5. Niklas (verified owner) -

Great finish on the 3d print, fast delivery. Will definitely use RPS for the next 3d print as well.

  6. Peter G. (verified owner) -

Quick and easy, great to be able to get help with recreating broken parts for my turntable 🙂

  7. Christoffer Axelsson (verified owner) -

Ordered adapters for peg perego. Found a finished drawing that I put into their system. Quick easy and cheap

  9. Peter G. (verified owner) -

    Fast and good as usual.
The plug that should sit in the spring went off immediately, probably me not understanding what material to choose. Solved with a hole and a m2 screw!
    Fast service 😁

Hi Najeb, what a pity it did not last for your application. Unfortunately, this was PLA and has likely been exposed to UV light. We would definitely recommend PETG or ASA for an application where the model will be exposed to sunlight. It can be easy to miss but each material states whether it is UV resistant or not. We definitely think it would have worked with a different material.

  18. Tomas J. (verified owner) -

    Great, was very pleased

  19. Anders B. (verified owner) -

Printed was good in fit and dimensions. Would have liked a chat function about material selection because pvc pro was not good at all even though I thought I read about it in the support pages. It went off on the bounce unfortunately. Then the surface finish was also not quite what I thought BUT I have never printed before so maybe get is normal.

Satisfactory quality and fast, the print was sent after about 1 week. No communication after the payment confirmation and the print was sent, so a bit nervous before that, but everything worked fine. All supporting material was cleared on delivery too.

Incredibly good print, used PLA-CF with 100% infill for a prototype. The surfaces turned out as good as if they were manufactured with EDM plastic tools. The material was very rigid and strong, no problems hanging and pulling screws into it. Can really be recommended!
