Order and files

I don't have a 3D file, can you still help me?

Yes, we do. We offer CAD design as a service to create a 3D model from scratch, based on a photo, drawing or physical part that you send to us. Price: 1 000 SEK/hour incl. VAT. Minimum charge is 3 hours.

How does the ordering process for 3D-printed parts work?

  • If you have a 3D file you can easily upload it in our price calculation tool, get a price, add it to your cart and pay at checkout like any other online shop!
  • If you need help creating a 3D file you can contact us via our questionnaire and describe what you want help with.
  • If you are ordering in bulk as a business we recommend that you read more about company orders with us.

What file formats does your pricing calculator accept?

You can upload stl, stp, step, obj, igs or iges formats in our price calculation tool to get a printing cost.

What file formats can we send you for advice?

We accept files in stl, stp, step, 3mf, obj, igs or iges format. If you have any other format, please contact us and we will try to help.

Can I send in a broken or old part for you to copy?

Yes, absolutely. Feel free to send a lot if possible, and we can make an exact copy. Everything will be returned to you after production.

Why is there only one model in the price calculation tool?

You can only upload one file at a time in our price calculation tool. Once you have received a price in the last step, you can add the model to the shopping cart and then do the same with the next file.

Do I need to rotate my model in your pricing tool?

The rotation of the model doesn't matter at all, as the tool only calculates how many grams of material the model contains based on your selections. We rotate the model in the way that's needed to get the best possible print!

Why don't I get a price quote in your price calculation tool?

Most likely, the uploaded file is too large, too small, corrupted, or not in millimeters or inches.

Techniques, materials, and tolerances

What 3D printing methods do you offer?

We currently offer FDM printing and SLA printing. Contact us for SLA printouts.

What materials can you print with?

We print in a wide selection of materials. The most common base materials are PLA, PLA-CF (carbon fiber reinforced), PETG, and the flexible TPU 95A. For more demanding applications, we offer ASA, ASA-CF, PETG-CF, PC-ABS (ABSpro), and TPC 40D, among others, as well as several high-performance nylon materials – for example, STYX PA6-CF15, PA12-CF, LUVOCOM 3F PAHT, and the flame-retardant Addigy F1030 FR. You can always see all current materials and colors directly in our price calculation tool. Unsure which material is right for your part? Please contact us for advice.

What tolerances can you hold?

It depends on the technology. On our FDM printers, we typically maintain a tolerance of approximately ±0.1 mm. On our SLA printer (Formlabs Form 4L), the accuracy is even higher – Formlabs specifies a tolerance of ±0.15 % for parts up to 30 mm (with a minimum of ±0.02 mm) and ±0.3 % for larger parts (according to Formlabs specificationsThe actual accuracy is always affected by materials, geometry, and detail size. If your parts need to fit together mechanically, we recommend planning for a clearance between the parts – approximately 0.2 mm for a sliding fit, 0.1 mm for a transition fit, and 0.05 mm for a press fit. Read more in our guide. Order 3D printing with the correct tolerances for fits.

What is the maximum size of an FDM 3D print?

Our FDM 3D printers handle up to 350 × 320 × 325 mm. Larger models can be split and assembled.

What is the maximum size of an SLA 3D print?

Our SLA 3D printers handle up to 350 × 200 × 350 mm. Larger models can be split and assembled.

Can you print detailed models?

We can print very detailed models with extremely fine detail using our SLA machines. We will contact you after your order if your specifications are too limited for our FDM printers.

Do you use support materials for printing?

We always add support material if it is necessary to print your model. We optimize this entirely to achieve the best possible quality for your model. We also remove the support material before your order is sent to you!

What if my model is not printable?

If we decide that your model is not suitable for 3D printing, we will contact you by email before production. You can then choose between:

  • Make changes to the file to make it printable
  • Cancel your order and get a refund
  • Get a value code for the corresponding amount
Prices and discounts

What is the minimum order value for a 3D print?

Delivery and shipping

How long is your delivery time?

Usually between 1-5 working days for production. Then the orders are sent by post, which usually takes 1-3 working days to arrive.

We normally start production of orders without undue delay, often on the same or the next working day. However, this is never a guarantee, as machine capacity, order content and ongoing production affect the start time.

Can I get faster delivery?

For customers who want guaranteed priority, we offer an urgent production add-on. In such an add-on, ongoing production is paused if necessary and the current order is placed first in the queue. This means a guarantee that production will start within the agreed timeframe.

Additional levels:

  • Production guaranteed within 4 working days: +25% on order value
  • Production guaranteed within 2 working days: +50% on order value
  • Production guaranteed within 24 hours: +100% on order value

Urgent production additions must be explicitly agreed at order placement and confirmed in both
quote and order confirmation.

Is free shipping included?

Yes – for all orders placed via our price calculation tool Is shipping included in the price? Shipping fees will be added for special orders placed via email or phone (typically corporate orders).

Do you offer pick-up at your premises?

No, at present we are only able to send orders by post.
